My Breakfast: Koay teow t’ng. Literally translated into rice noodle soup. It’s silky, paper thin rice noodles (wider than the typical pho noodle, narrower than the commonly available hor fun) in clear chicken/duck broth, accompanied by an assortment of fish and meat balls, drizzled with fried garlic and lard pieces, topped with scallions, Chinese celery and served with a side of sliced red chillies & chilli padi in soy sauce. Hungry yet?
